90s fashion: a slip dress over a t-shirt was a classic in this era, and l’m happy to replicate that with this outfit. 🌻

But as soon as there are arms and legs and a face visible too, the visual system responds to the colour-adjustment (as when we see things in extremely yellow light) and imposes a kind of counter-adjustment: the result is that we see the dress basically as blue and black

What should I consider when choosing a paneled or gored skirt?

Consider the fabric weight because the same panel arrangement can look more structured or more fluid. Inspect seam finishes if you are sensitive to internal bulk.

What should I verify when a skirt has detachable design elements?

Look for the manufacturer's instructions showing the approved configurations. Consider the additional storage or packing needed for separate parts.

What should I consider when choosing a skirt with an exposed zipper?

Read the care directions for the complete garment before cleaning. Look for a secured end stop at the fastening boundary.
